Everybodies doin these lists. I couldn't think of anything I liked at all this year, except maybe sipping Cazadores Anejo tequila. But maybe there was some other stuff too. Without further ado, 22 days into the new year, ( 21 without booze) my top 10 picks....
Wugazi: Thoroughly enjoyable mash-up album by Swiss Andy and Cecil Otter. I think 36 CHAMBERS should be mashed up with every album ever made. Get on this people

Wu-Tang vs Jimi Hendrix: There are at least 2 of these. BLACK GOLD is the clear winner but the other one is good too.

Dillon Francis: Thank god dubstep is pretty much over. Moombahton should have way more staying power since its not just the same song over and over again.

Mike Posner. Bow Chicka Wow: Catchiest song ever. This was my guilty pleasure track of the summer. I drove everybody crazy with it. I even did a mash-up with Zeds Dead Rumble in the Jungle on my last mixtape.

Video for Save The World. Swedish House Mafia: The song is actually not bad for pop but the video is a stunning piece of art. I forced people to watch it wherever I was and if they didn't love it, they weren't my friend anymore.

Jon Kwest:This guy came out with so much stuff this year. All of it good. Moombahjazz, Moombahton vs Drum and Bass, Moombahton vs UK hardcore plus tons of singles. Apparently being from Baltimore makes you talented and very hard working.

Iggy Azelea: Hard to believe this bitch is from Australia. I used to think those people had virtually no musical talent (til I discovered all the folks at Scattermish). Anyway she is hot and talks dirty and her producer is called DRUGS. How cool is that?

Cumbia Cosmonauts: Tropical Bass, Digital Cumbia, I can't get enough. These guys are awesome. The first E.P. is a tribute to lesser known space programs. I actually paid money for that....
DJ Spinbad: This was my throwback discovery, except he's current as can be. I used to listen to him on the Return of the DJ turntablist compilations in the 90s. He still scratches but now remixes and puts out epic mixtapes. The Needle to the Groove is my fave but check them all out. The 8os and 90s megamixes are hilarious....Tons of free downloads on his website.

Lil B-I'm Gay: Based God. Holy shit. He samples Bo Hansens Lord of the Rings. I thought I was the only person on earth with that record. Lil B gets the Kool Keith award of the year for being so freaky and funny. There are also some mixtapes that are just as good as the album.
